WiFi will be available in the hall, in the conference room and near the pool

Talk presentations: we strongly recommend to bring your talks on digital tools (like as memory pen, CD or DVD) preferably in PPT (we dispose of Power Point 2003 version) or PDF (Acrobat vers. 8.1) format.

Presentations will be made as follows:

  • paper and slides: through a Digital Visualizer (either portrait or landscape)
  • ppt and pdf: through a laptop with English Windows XP professional Service Pack 3 of the organization or
  • connecting one's laptop (through a VGA cable) supporting MAC/OS, Linux, Windows systems.

All the presentations will be audio and video recorded on DVD. Those who don't want to be recorded must inform our technician before the presentation. People may ask to get either single presentations or the full lectures packet (at the end of the workshop, of course) on DVD.

Animated presentations: if you need MATHEMATICA, MATH WORKS, LAB VIEW or other similar scientific software, we strongly recommend to bring your laptop with you with the software needed already installed since we cannot personalize such kind of softwares.

Six PCs (3 Windows and 3 Linux) and 2 laser printers B/W for big printouts will be available in the hall. We invite people to bring, if possible, one's laptop to avoid queuing near the PCs.
